TOKYO

Tokyo – Japan’s capital and the world’s most populous metropolis. Tokyo offers a seemingly unlimited choice of shopping, entertainment, culture and dining to its visitors. The city’s history can be appreciated in many historic temples and gardens.

Highlights:
Sensō-ji – Buddhist temple in the special wards of Tokyo.
Shibuya – is a center for youth fashion and culture. The busiest pedestrian intersection in the world.

KYOTO

Kyoto is one of the country’s ten largest cities with 1.5 million inhabitants and a modern face.
It’s famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples, as well as gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses.

Highlights:
Fushimi Inari Shrine – is an important Shinto shrine famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates.
Arashiyama – bamboo Forest.
Kinkakuji – temple building covered in gold.
Tea ceremony – experience the core of Japanese traditional culture in the heart of one of Koyto’s most picturesque historical districts.

OSAKA

Osaka is a large port city and commercial center on the Japanese island of Honshu. It’s known for its modern architecture, nightlife and hearty street food.

Highlights:
Osaka Castle – is one of the most visually spectacular creations in the country, with a history that dates back almost 450 years.
Dotonbori – is a famous district in Osaka, known for its gaudy neon lights, extravagant signage, and the enormous variety of restaurants and bars.
Osaka Sky Building Observatory – the observatory offers great views of the city through its windows and from its open-air deck.

NARA

Nara is a peaceful and welcoming city that boasts an impressive number of historically and culturally significant sites within its picturesque borders, on top of which it is the proud home of over 1,200 freely roaming sacred deer.

Highlights:
Todaiji Temple – is a large temple with a big Buddha statue.
Nara Park – has magnificent temples and shrines and wild-roaming deer in a huge park.

KANAZAWA

Kanazawa is the cultural and artistic hub of Ishikawa. Experience crafts, samurai history, and a still-working geisha district in a magical atmosphere.

Highlights:
Kenrokuen – is one of Japan’s “three most beautiful landscape gardens”.
Higashi Chaya – district with teahouses where geisha perform.
Food market – spacious, indoor complex with stalls selling fresh produce, seafood & meat, plus specialty dishes.

LAKE KAWAGUCHI

Lake Kawaguchi is one of the best places to see the iconic Mount Fuji.

Highlights:
Go for a stroll along the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi through the beautiful Oishi Park and Nagasaki Park, connected by a walking path. Enjoy the fabulous view of Mt Fuji with the lake, trees, and flowers. Hike for Mount Fuji Panoramic View – short hike for spectacular views of Mount Fuji and popular Instagram picture location.

    Adventurous and physically fit adults. Participants must be at least 18 and most are between 25 and 45 years of age.

    A deposit of 50% of the tour cost must be paid upon booking to our business account. The rest of the payment must be paid 15 days prior to the tour date. Payment can be made by Zelle or by credit card. A 3.5% surcharge will be added when paying by credit card.

    Shortly after receiving your deposit we will email you a detailed packing list.

    We require mandatory travel insurance for medical coverage. Many US medical insurance plans do not cover medical cost in other states/countries. In addition to medical coverage, we strongly recommend purchasing additional coverage for unforeseen changes in plans, weather, or personal circumstances.

    You will fit right in! Most of our participants are traveling solo so it is a wonderful opportunity to meet a group of like minded people who enjoy adventures. In our tours people connect and remain friends afterwards for a long time.

    You don’t have to be an athlete to join our tours but being physically fit will allow you to enjoy and more easily participate in the adventure activities included in the tour. No special physical skills or knowledge is required. There is always strong team support for the exciting challenges that our tours provide.
