– Leave the hotel by 9am and drive to Bandelier National Monument for ~1h.
– Explore Bandelier National Monument. Encounter age-old dwellings, petroglyph engravings, and pictograph images at the rugged canyon of Bandelier National Monument. These ancient ruins patiently await your exploration. While known for mesas, sheer-walled canyons, and several thousand ancestral Pueblo dwellings, this monument also has over 33,000 acres of designated wilderness.
– Drive to Bisti Badlands for ~4h.
– Sunset hike in Bisti Badlands. On this trail we will look for the most famous formation there – the Alien Throne hoodoo.
– Drive for ~1h to our hotel for check in and dinner.

– Leave the hotel by 9am and drive to Bisti Badlands for ~1h.
– Hike the most scenery trails in Bisti Badlands. The Bisti
Badlands offers a vast landscape containing some of the most unique rock formations on this planet. From the Alien Egg Hatchery or Egg Factory and Hoodoo City to Manta Ray Wing and King of Wings, the unique nature of these formations is truly otherworldly. Photographers, hikers, and explorers from around the world visit the Bisti Badlands to see the hoodoos, desert spires, natural arches, and fossils unique to this area.

– Hike/explore White Sand National Park. Discover the world’s largest gypsum dune field.
